About Suzy

I am a highly trained and fully qualified psychotherapist based in South West London/Surrey borders with a wide range of experience. I work with adults aged 21 and older. I am accredited by the BABCP, the UK’s professional body for CBT therapists, as well as the EMDR Association of the UK and Ireland. I am approved by AXA PPP, Aviva, Vitality Health, WPA, Cigna and other insurers.

I enjoy working with clients from all religions, races, cultures, genders and sexual orientations who are struggling with any kind of anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress. I know it can be nerve-racking to start therapy, and I am committed to helping you make the experience as easy and rewarding as possible. My main working language is English. I am also fluent in German and speak some Danish.

In person sessions are available in West Molesey, KT8 1RX and in East Sheen, Sheen Lane, London SW14 8LP. I also offer Zoom or FaceTime sessions. My clients are based all over London, Surrey, elsewhere in the UK and some elsewhere in Europe.

My training encompasses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy.

I have a wide range of experience with clients from a variety of backgrounds, having worked at an NHS GP surgery, a charity for people with drug and alcohol problems and several private clinics, including The Priory Hospital Roehampton. I have also worked as an online therapist at IESO and delivered presentations about CBT strategies for work related stress to GPs.

“Suzy has given me many tools and skills to allow me to flourish as a person. She is warm and kind but forces you (benevolently) to look at your own life objectively and find your own resolutions. Without her support and guidance I would not have been able to get where I am today. Thank you” Katrina
